Madikwe Magic!

A fantastic safari lodge, where the staff could not have been more accommodating! We stayed in the 3 bedroomed ‘villa’ it was very homely, large grounds with our own swimming pool, viewing deck, bbq area and a waterhole. The staff came into our villa on one evening and cooked for us in the villa. The only negative if I could find one is that the upstairs bedroom is up a very deep and steep stairs so may not be suitable for everyone.
The game drives with our guide KG were excellent, he always found the Big 5 and also the Magnificent 7 (cheetah and Wild Dogs)! 
Highly recommend a stay here.

Highly Recommended Lodge in Madikwe

A wonderful property in Madikwe Game Reserve. Moses and his staff were exeptional, as was Hanru, our guide for the 4 nights we spent there. We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary at Rockfig, and they pulled out all the stops to give us an evening to remember, with sundowners overlooking the reserve, and a wonderful dinner catered for us in our villa. We saw plenty of game, and enjoyed relaxing next to the plunge pool during the lazy time between game drives. A top experience, highly recommended!

Rockfig Lodge exceeded all our expectations!

Rockfig Lodge was amazing. The Inkwe house that we stayed in was so spacious and even had its own pool, outdoor bbq area and waterhole! The main lodge was lovely also. The hide overlooking another waterhole even had a coffee station and drinks in the fridge! The staff were all so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome and special. We loved the braai dinner outside and the staff dances!!
Our guide Kagiso (KG) was phenomenal and found us everything we were hoping for and way more! His knowledge was incredible and we learned so much from him and had sitings that we could never even have dreamed of. Thank you to everyone at Rockfig Lodge for the stay of a lifetime. We hope to be able to come back one day. We highly recommend Rockfig Lodge for a visit to Madikwe.

Amazing trip! Great property, huge rooms, very tasty food and interesting game drives! Moreover, the team is great and friendly!

Eine kleine aber feine Anlage. Genau das was wir uns gewünscht hatten. Das gesamte Team war einfach toll! Freundlich, höflich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und die Getränkeauswahl vollkommen zur Zufriedenheit. Die Villa war großzügig und allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Der eigene Pool und vor allem der Aussichtsplatz auf das eigene Wasserloch waren sehr schön. Die game drives waren unsere Highlights des Tages, nicht zuletzt dank Ronny unseres ausgezeichneten Guides. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We liked everything.

A fantastic location, high-quality and varied food and drinks, top-equipped accommodation, great hospitable service and a unique safari experience – all in all an absolutely outstanding experience that we can wholeheartedly recommend.

The chalets are well laid out and each unit very private. Our chalet was spacious and had all the amenities you would need, even though we did not make use of all the facilities. The view from the veranda is amazing and relaxing. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The chef was superb, producing marvelous meals. Our ranger was friendly and knowledgeable, which resulted in some amazing sights. Not only the big five, but a number of other animals and birds which is often overlooked.

A warm welcome with a smile that lasted throughout our stay, the amenities of the villas, our driver Pride who went out of his way to allow us to see a male lion before our departure.

Wonderful food and the resort had the best service. I would come here again.
